We’re a small design studio which means we are nimble, adaptive and flexible and, most of all, are able to give your project the attention it deserves. You will have one contact for the entire process and we’ll keep you informed and involved every step of the way.
We have been trading for nearly 12 years and during that time we have worked with a whole variety of businesses in a variety of sectors. We are based in Basingstoke, Hampshire but work with clients all over the UK and the world and utilise Microsoft Teams or Zoom for meetings with clients and for project updates, demos and training. We’re proud of our work and like to spend as much of our time as possible working on, and delivering, bespoke websites and impactful branding for our clients, rather than having endless meetings and discussions! We’re happy to work at your pace and are able to provide face to face, virtual or offline training.
Inception2 is run by Mark Tansey and Neil Hanham, who between them have significant experience in both creative marketing, marketing technology and business IT. Mark is our Creative Director and Web Designer and will be the one taking you through our projects together. Neil can support your business IT requirements, including setting up and managing your business email via Microsoft 365.

I’ve always been in to computers and technology and graduated from the University of Exeter with a BSc Hons in Computer Science. My first job after uni was working in web development and while I am comfortable with code I quickly learned that my passion was in design and user experience. I spent a lot of energy focusing on layout, structure, easy of use and using design principles to improve usability. Since then, I have transitioned my career through web design and in to digital marketing, branding and creative. I’ve been a successful freelancer for over 10 years and also have experience working in-house in some very large as well as some very small businesses. As my career progresses, I’m even more passionate about bringing the technology and creativity together and supporting small and medium businesses with their digital marketing activity.
